I took a quick look. It looks very nice and it seemed like it works as it should. It takes a surprising amount of processing power to run, though (must be the rotating background). Would be really cool if it did that Yes Watch thing with the sunrise/sunset times (see http://www.germane-software.com/software/yesClock/ ).
I've wanted to buy a Zulu Yes-watch for some time now, and I keep comming back to the website, hoping to see a new design. First of all the Yes-watches wouldn't fit my wrist, because the watches are too large. Secondly it would be so nice if Yes-watches offered a more minimalistic design - Stil with the indication of sunrise/-set, but perhaps without the outer turning ring, as this takes a lot of space in the design.
I'm in PDT, and the results are a bit odd - at 7:30AM, it shows arrow hand at 14:30 and orange hand at 15:30.
ReplyDeleteNice use of quartz, I like it. I'd be glad to do testing for you, as I'd like to leave this running on the spare mini in my office.
Thanks - I see that the times are completely wrong... :) Will investigate!
ReplyDeleteSecond version working well in PDT-zone, ditto as screen saver. Nice work!

ReplyDeletethanks! the second hand is trying to sweep, too, which isn't helping :) that yes thing could involve some programming ...
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I consult for Yes Watches - let me know if you want to buy one at a discount. ;) Gotta help my 24h fan friends out!
ReplyDeleteLooks very nice running in the -8 TZ on Snow Leopard. :) Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteCool, thanks. I'll start to worry about Daylight Saving Time problems later this year! :)
